The JJ Electronic 12AT7 / ECC81 is a good choice for phase inverters, reverb drivers, and general preamp use. This tube offers low noise, low microphonics, and warm smooth tones at a great price. Like all JJ tubes, it has a rugged construction that doesn’t compromise the sound of your amp. The JJ 12AT7 is a solid replacement for any 12AT7, ECC81, or 6201 tube. It can also be used to replace 12AX7 tubes in position 1 to reduce gain.

Five stars plus. Changed out the worn tubes in my Princeton Reverb with new JJ's 12AT7 and 12AX7...Wow the tone is back.
I was very pleased with the service that I received from AE and recommend them to anyone considering tube replacement,
Thanks Guys
The Tubes arrived safe and measured Perfect for their value and installed and they sound and work GREAT!! Thank you; ya'll are the best.

Works perfect
J&J is my first choice in vacuum tubes for guitar and audio amps. Antique Electronics offers excellent range of products and has great customer service
Keep one on hand for inventory. Some repairs lately have needed to dial down the gain a bit from a full-on 12a--X--7.
I have been a satisfied customer for years. However, this time, I ordered two tubes in case one happened to be bad. Both tested bad when I got them. Four stars for previous orders.
One tube good. One bad! You selling junk now!
I used these for cathode followers in an SVT-style bass amp I designed. They do exactly what I need them to: supply a huge, immaculate signal to the power section. I prefer JJs to Chinese or Russian tubes; they seem better and more consistently built.
The people at AES are always helpful and informative!!!
I am resurrecting my 1966 Fender Princeton Reverb amp.
The reverb was a little weak and so I replaced the 12AT7 and BINGO the reverb was back
and strong as ever!!!
Thank you all!
Great tubes, sound great, last a long time
