Unfortunately these tubes are not even close to what I had in mind. Why? Well... I know most tubes are made in Eastern Europe, ok... but if a Russian brand obviously buys the copyrights to use other brands names like Mullard... the I really want a tube similar as possible for the much higher price tag. No, this didn't happen. These tubes came with the Russian pins ! (these are thinner than the original ones as most of us know). I measures them and unfortunately they are not very strong too. I compared with some used ones from the 80th and those measured really much better.
I really don't understand... why does a tube factory pretend to fabricate Mullard tubes using the Russian pins. We are no idiots ! ! !
These pins will cause trouble long term. And there's absolute nothing Mullard-ish inside :-) sorry folks, this could have done better.
They are not damaged and they work, so I can't return them.

I put two of these in a 68 Band Master, replacing 2 Groove Tube 12AX7's. Made a good sounding amp sound really great. Tone was night and day. Really tightened up the sound a lot, with a Plexi type break up and natural compression, yet still very American sounding. Worth every penny.

In my opinion its the best 12ax7 on the market-pricey but worth it. Zero microphonic noise ,very smooth solid drive qualities.
