Product Reviews
Excellent!
Bought this for an early 70s Fender Champ along with a new JJ ECC803 and 6V6. Certainly breathed new life into this little beauty.
Bought as a replacement for an old RCA rectifier tube... does the job exactly as advertised, reviewed and hoped for.
yowza!
I've built and sold several 5F1 amp heads recently. I like using a JJ 5Y3 rectifier tube in them for their consistently excellent performance and reliability. JJs have never let me down in this regard.
The tube arrived defective...a faulty heater.
Works perfectly (radio application), and for almost half the price of the lowest NOS 5Y3 rectifier!
These are perfectly good, functional 5Y3 rectifier tubes, and will work in antique radios needing a 5Y3, or 5Y3G, or 5Y3GT rectifier tube. I'm happy with this product.
Great sounding product highly recommend
Solid rectifier tube. I wanted something that ran voltages significantly lower than a 5AR4 in a 6v6 cathode biased amp. This fit the bill perfectly and is working well. I love the folks at Antique Electronic Supply. They always ship quickly and they've been there for me since the late '90s.
I acquired a 1937 Wards Airline radio chassis in working condition but with a couple of weak / bad tubes , the rectifier and magic eye.
The magic eye I was able to replace with one I had but the rectifier tube I decided to go with a brand new tube and the one from JJ Electronics fit the bill for it's price and quality. Working like a charm. Thanks.
