I've been collecting Antique Radio and Vintage Hi-Fi Gear for over 35 years. If I have Vintage American or European Vacuum Tubes for replacement, I go for those First. However, I've found that Svetlana Tubes perform nearly the same as American and/or European tubes. I just purchased a Quad of Svetlana 6L6GC Output tubes for my Vintage mono block tube amps. They had American 6L6G output tubes that were getting tired. The new Svetlana 6L6GC tube sound wonderful as a Quality Output tube replacement. For me, the Svetlana Quality is as close as you can get to true Vintage Audio Tubes.
