1 answers Bought a quad for a project amp where I am converting it from 7355 to 6l6-oids amp They look really cool like late 1960's tube construction (think 6av5) with the very large mica spacers on the top of the structure. I also like the side getters on these and I enjoy looking at the amps as much as listening to them. They aren't getting pushed that hard so I would think they last a long time.
1 answers What is the max plate dissipation for the 6L6WGS?
1 answers The 6L6WGS appears to be similar to a 5881. Is the max plate voltage also 400 volts for the WGS tube?
1 answers Due to a max plate voltage of 400v, would you suggest that it not be used in a Fender Bandmaster? Or can it handle a little more voltage, say up to 450v?
