The heater spec is 600ma +60ma / -50ma. If I supply 6.3 volts and it's at the one of the extremes then I will be either above 3.78w or below 3.78w. Do I have to adjust the voltage to achieve 3.78w.?
Otherwise I will be running it under power or over power..

You only need to be able to supply more than the heater current, not the exact heater current.

They are a joke. They are nothing like a great vintage tube!
I'm happy with the Sovtek 6SN7GT's. Got they to use in my tube phono preamp I built, using one section as a ordinary triode amp and the second section as the final stage Cathode Follower. I think they sound as good as the Winged C 6SN7GT's that I have used for years in my tube amp.
So far, they are working great and sound good.
