Its been about 10 years since I first tried these "Mullard" EL34's and I am even more impressed with them now than I was then.I was more skeptical then of their quality and durability. Now I can say that I have used two pairs of these in my 1987x reissue in 10 years and both pairs are still good and strong. Im about to install a new pair..thats actually what im doing here today. New Sensor makes a few tubes that are just dead on and this EL34 mallard is one of them

The beautiful mellow sound of my single ended HiFi tube amplifier (hand-made by Kenji Mizushima in Japan) with the EL34 - Mullard tubes is second to none. The sound of jazz is just magnificient. These tubes are probably the best modern production EL34s for HiFi tube audio.

Excellent option for guitar amps. They sound great and these New Sensor made Mullard tubes are possibly the most durable new manufactured EL34 tubes available -at least in my experience.
