Vacuum Tubes

The first electronic amplification of sound was done with Vacuum Tubes. We have pre-amp, power and rectifier vacuum tubes among other types in New Old Stock from the golden era of American & European manufacturing as well as current production tubes from today.

New Old Stock (NOS)

Our new-old-stock tubes were made in the U.S. by the major manufacturers, with several types made in Western Europe or Japan. All NOS tubes are tested and guaranteed.
Vacuum Tube - 6A7, Pentagrid Converter
Pentagrid converter designed for service as an oscillator and mixer in AC operated and ac-operated receivers. With the exception of heater ratings, they have identical ratings and electrical characteristics.
Vacuum Tube - 6JH8, Double Plate Beam
Miniature double-plate sheet-beam tube which incorporates a pair of balanced deflectors to direct the electron beam to either of the two plates and a control grid to vary the intensity of the beam.
Vacuum Tube - 6K8, Triode, Hexode
Consists of a triode oscillator and a hexode mixer in a common envelope. Reduces interaction between the oscillator and mixer sections and makes for stable operation in superheterodyne receivers on the high frequencies as well as the broadcast band.
Vacuum Tube - 13DE7, Triode, Dissimilar Double
Miniature double triode in the 9-pin miniature construction. Section #1 is intended for use as a vertical deflection oscillator having medium mu and section #2 is intended for use as a vertical deflection amplifier with lo mu.
Vacuum Tube - 1LB4, Pentode, Power
Low-voltage, low-current drain, battery type power pentode. It is designed for service with 90 volts of "B" battery and a single dry cell "A" battery.
Vacuum Tube - 1LH4, Diode, Triode
Tube combining a single diode and a high-mu triode in one bulb. It is designed for service as a diode detector, AVC rectifier, and as a resistance coupled amplifier.
Vacuum Tube - 35B5, Tetrode, Beam Power
Miniature beam power amplifier especially designed for use in the power output stage of a-c/d-c receivers. Its small size and high efficiency make the tube especially useful where space limitation prevent the use of larger types.
Vacuum Tube - 35Z3, Rectifier, Half Wave
New-Old-Stock (NOS) tube. The 35Z3 is a half-wave high-vacuum rectifier designed for use in a-c/d-c receivers. Electrically the 35Z3 is equivalent to the 35Z5GT except that the heater of the 35Z3 is not tapped for operation of a panel lamp. The 35Z3 is a loctal-based tube (compared to the octal base of the 35Z5GT.)

Vacuum Tube - 6AQ6, Diode, Dual, Triode
Miniature double diode high mu triode designed for service as a combined first audio amplifier, detector, and AVC tube in radio receivers. However, the 6AQ6 employs a 150 mA heter.
Vacuum Tube - 6AR5, Pentode, Power
Pentode power amplifier using the miniature construction. It is intended for service in AC and storage battery operated receivers where moderate power sensitivity and power output is desired.
Vacuum Tube - 6HA5 / 6HM5, Triode, HI MU
Miniature triode designed particularly for service in VHF television tuners as a grounded-cathode RF amplifier.

Vacuum Tube - 6K11 / 6Q11, Triode, Triple
Compactron device containing two high-mu triodes and one medium-mu triode. Features of the tube include separate pin connections for all three cathodes, grids, and plates; an internal shield between sections 1 and 3.
Vacuum Tube - 6Q7G, Dual Diode, Triode
Combines two diodes and a high-mu triode, using a common cathode. It is designed for service as a diode detector, AVC rectifier, and as a high gain resistance coupled amplifier in AC, storage battery, and AC - DC operated receivers.
Vacuum Tube - 7025, Triode, Dual, High MU
Miniature, high-mu, twin triode primarily designed for use in low-level stages of high-gain audio-frequency amplifiers. Use of the 7025 in this application is advantageous because of its low hum output.

Medium-mu triode using the lock-in construction. It is designed for use as an oscillator, detector, or amplifier. It is characterized by moderately high transconductance. It is particularly applicable for service in the higher frequencies.

Pentode type amplifier tube with remote cutoff characteristics designed for use as a high frequency amplifier in radio receivers.

Vacuum Tube - 30, Triode
General purpose filament type triode designed for service in battery operated receivers. With the exception of capacitances, its ratings and characteristics are identical with those of the 1H4G.
Vacuum Tube - 3A4, Pentode, Power Amplifier
The 3A4 is designed for use in compact, lightweight, portable equipment. The relatively large filament employed in the 3A4 enables it to supply the high peak currents required in RF power applications.
