Vacuum Tube - EL84, JJ Electronics
The JJ Electronic EL84 is a solidly built EL84 / 6BQ5 with excellent tonal qualities. JJ’s rugged construction of this tube offers high reliability without any compromise to the sound. This tube has solid lows with warm bright mids and shimmery highs. When saturated the harmonics are rich and dynamic. The JJ EL84 nails the classic sound of this tube. This tube can replace any EL84 or 6BQ5 tube.

The JJ Electronic 6L6GC is the classic pentode built with the rugged construction that only JJ could deliver. At 30W, this tube delivers plenty of headroom. The highs are clear and responsive with warm mids and tight solid lows. Known for their reliability and articulation, the JJ 6L6GC is a great option guitar amplifiers and Hi-Fi stereo equipment.

Vacuum Tube - 6V6, JJ Electronics
This 6V6 has the standard rugged construction we’ve come to expect from JJ which allows it handle much higher plate voltages than the typical 6V6 tube. The JJ 6V6 can even be used in place of a 6L6 in some amplifiers. Overall this tube has a warm and balanced tone with incredible separation and response. These tubes can cover a spectrum of sounds and styles all within the same amplifier.

The JJ Electronic 6550 is a robust tube built in the rugged fashion that JJ is famous for. At 35 Watts, these tubes have a warm round tone with a thick and defined low end. The JJ 6550 is an excellent choice for bass heads, tube organs, and Hi-Fi amplifiers.

Vacuum Tube - E34L, JJ Electronics
The JJ Electronic E34L adds more power to a standard EL34 due to its higher grid voltage rating. This increase gives the tube more headroom and a tighter response on the low end. The wide frequency response of this tube offers excellent harmonics that work in a variety of genres ranging from the cleanest cleans to rich and aggressive breakup.

Vacuum Tube - 5881, JJ Electronics
The JJ Electronic 5881 is very similar to the 6L6GC but with a plate dissipation of 23W rather than 30W. Another physical difference is the shorter bulb. These tubes have a soft and balanced response that sounds great in both guitar amps and hifi equipment. The JJ 5881 will work in any amp that uses 6L6 tubes.

A sonically faithful reproduction of the original tubes with a robust construction encased in a thick glass envelope. The JJ KT88 delivers a powerful 42 Watts with plenty of headroom to spare. This tube has a tone that is warm and lively with a detailed and balance response. The JJ KT88 is an excellent choice for Hi-Fi stereo equipment as well as guitar amplifiers. It can be used in place of 6550 tubes.

Vacuum Tube - 6CA7, JJ Electronics
A true to form reproduction of a classic tube that will work in most EL34 amps. The 6CA7 is often considered the American cousin to the British EL34. Sonically, this tube is closer to a 6L6 than an EL34 but without the sometimes harsh high end of the 6L6.

A different construction of the classic EL34 tube that offers a different tonal palette than the original. This tube has a more compact plate structure than standard EL34’s. The JJ EL34 II has an increased low to low-mid end with plenty of headroom to spare. The JJ EL34 II is stronger than the original but not harsh sounding in any way.

Vacuum Tube - 5881WXT, Sovtek
The Sovtek 5881WXT is the same as the 5881 but with a full size base for easy installation in vintage amp designs. The Sovtek 5881 delivers a warm, round tone that "sweetens" any vintage or modern guitar amp design. Built to rigid military standards, the 5881 will tolerate higher voltages than any other 6L6. In fact, they're frequently used as replacements for the old 7027 model in vintage Ampegs. Extremely consistent from piece to piece. The Sovtek 5881 has a heater voltage of 6.3 volts at 0.88 amperes.

Vacuum Tube - 6L6WXT+, Sovtek
Higher in gain than the 5881WXT, with full base. Modelled after the vintage RCA 6L6GC "blackplate," the Sovtek 6L6WXT+ features larger plate dimensions and improved grid structure for increased power handling capabilities.
The 6L6WXT+ also features mica spacers with metal springs to eliminate tube rattle and microphonics. The Sovtek 6L6WXT+ yields a 20% higher output than the Sovtek 5881WXT and offers superior tone and overall performance to any 6L6 or KT66. The ultimate 6L6, the WXT+ will improve the sound of any 6L6 guitar amplifier.

Vacuum Tube - EL84 / 6BQ5, Tung-Sol Reissue
Due to many requests by fans, the Tung-Sol EL84/6BQ5 has been reissued. The Tung-Sol EL84 / 6BQ5 was a popular OEM tube for American-made EL84 / 6BQ5 guitar amplifiers, such as those built by Gibson and Harmony. Due to its rugged construction and conservative ratings, it is the most reliable current production EL84 type available for use in Vox AC-30 type amplifiers. In addition, its linearity and tone characteristic make it the ideal replacement for EL84 hi-fi amplifiers, such as those built by Fisher, Scott, and Harmon-Kardon. Tube measurements are as follows:
