Vacuum Tube - KT66, JJ Electronics

This tube has a tone that is warm, thick, and straightforward. With a more balanced sound than the 6L6GC, the JJ KT66 is an excellent choice for a full bodied tone.

Vacuum Tube - KT66, Tube Amp Doctor, Premium Selected
The Tube Amp Doctor KT-66 is an incredible remake of the classic British tube. With its large glass envelope contoured by smooth curves tapering into a rounded brown base, the TAD KT-66 not only looks like the original, it performs like the original. This KT66 offers plenty of headroom for a thick full bodied sound with smooth yet articulate highs. The KT-66 is famously used in vintage British plexi amps and makes a great replacement for that style of amplifier and many others. The TAD KT66 is matched for both plate current and transconductance and passes all of the tests of the TAD Premium Selection process. The TAD KT-66 can be used in any KT-66 position as well as 6L6GC and 5881 amps that can supply the required 1.27A for the heater.

Vacuum Tube - KT77, Genalex Gold Lion
Genalex Gold Lion KT77 beam-power tetrode tube. Made in Russia.
A beam tetrode with an absolute maximum anode dissipation rating of 32 watts. The KT77 is designed for use in the output stage of an af amplifier. Two valves in Class AB1 give a continuous output of over 70 W.

In 1957 Marconi-Osram Valve Co. (Genalex) introduced the "King of Power Tubes", the legendary Gold Lion KT88. This tube became the heart and soul of such classics as the Dynaco Mark III, McIntosh MC275, and Marshall Major. Unfortunately, Genalex ceased tube production in the early 1980s and the Genalex Gold Lion KT88 has become very expensive and hard to find.
After extensive research and engineering, New Sensor Corp. has reissued the famed Genalex Gold Lion KT88.
