Vacuum Tube - 6550WE, Sovtek
The Sovtek 6550WE was designed to be the finest 6550 ever produced. Thicker plates, improved heat dissipation, higher transconductance, and increased linearity are just some of the inherent aspects of the new Sovtek super 6550s. This modified version does not have the top plate cap which is instead wired to a pin on the octal base. This tube is rated for 700V and 42 Watts plate dissipation. Modelled after the vintage RCA 6L6GC "blackplate," the Sovtek 6L6WXT+ features larger plate dimensions and improved grid structure for increased power handling capabilities. The 6L6WXT+ also features mica spacers with metal springs to eliminate tube rattle and microphonics. Vacuum Tube - 5881WXT, Sovtek
The Sovtek 5881WXT is the same as the 5881 but with a full size base for easy installation in vintage amp designs. The Sovtek 5881 delivers a warm, round tone that "sweetens" any vintage or modern guitar amp design. Built to rigid military standards, the 5881 will tolerate higher voltages than any other 6L6. In fact, they're frequently used as replacements for the old 7027 model in vintage Ampegs. Extremely consistent from piece to piece. The Sovtek 5881 has a heater voltage of 6.3 volts at 0.88 amperes.

Vacuum Tube - 5881, Tung-Sol Reissue
Russian made reissue of the original Tungsol.
The 5881 is the electrical equivalent to types 6L6 and 6L6G except that the plate and screen dissipation ratings have been increased approximately 20 percent. It embodies a complete mechanical redesign which results in greater resistance to shock and vibration.

Superior "Black base" high-voltage power pentode. Most common power pentode found in British amplifiers such as Marshall, Hiwatt, Laney, and Sound City. The EL34EH defines the classic British rock sound of the 1960s and 1970s. Perfect EL34 for vintage equipment and for improved performance of modern amps. Extremely musical and predictable, with a sound that is rich, smooth, and detailed without being edgy.

The JJ Electronic 7027A offers the same reliability and tone as the JJ 6L6GC but with the correct pinout for vintage amplifiers that use 7027 tubes like older Ampegs. Russian made Mullard reissue EL84. Copy of the original. Black plates, carbonized screens, and gold plated grids. This tube was the "Voice of the Vox AC-30." A mainstay of affordable quality hi-fi amplifiers of the 1960s. Tube measurements are as follows:

The Tung-Sol EL84 / 6BQ5 was a popular OEM tube for American-made EL84 / 6BQ5 guitar amplifiers, such as those built by Gibson and Harmony. Due to its rugged construction and conservative ratings, it is the most reliable current production EL84 type available for use in Vox AC-30 type amplifiers. In addition, its linearity and tone characteristic make it the ideal replacement for EL84 hi-fi amplifiers, such as those built by Fisher, Scott, and Harmon-Kardon. Vacuum Tube - E34L, JJ Electronics, Blue Glass
Blue glass envelope. The JJ Electronic E34L adds more power to a standard EL34 due to its higher grid voltage rating. This increase gives the tube more headroom and a tighter response on the low end. The wide frequency response of this tube offers excellent harmonics that work in a variety of genres ranging from the cleanest cleans to rich and aggressive breakup.
