A custom version of the JJ 6V6-S with a double top mica for increased stability. The double mica improves support for the tube structure and reduces mechanical vibrations in its components. These double mica 6V6 tubes are a great option for combo amps and any amplifiers exposed to speaker vibrations. The JJ Electronic 6V6S is another modern classic from JJ. This 6V6 has the standard rugged construction we’ve come to expect from JJ which allows it to handle much higher plate voltages than the typical 6V6 tube. The JJ 6V6 can even be used in place of a 6L6 in some amplifiers. Overall this tube has a warm and balanced tone with incredible separation and response. The highs come in clean and smooth with a lot of clarity. The mids are full and distinctive. The lows are fat and punchy. The Classic Sound of the 1950s and 60s - Excellent Tone, Maximum Lifetime! The TAD 6L6WGC-STR Redbase is the perfect choice for vintage tweed and blackface amps such as the 1960s Bassman, Twin, Showman or Super Reverb. The complex midrange and sweet heights are a class of its own. The TAD 6L6WGC-STR Redbase is recommended for classic tone with warm cleans and rich, sweet mids when pushed. Great for fat jazz or blues tones and our favorite in all open back combo amplifiers. The TAD 6L6WGC-STR is a remake of the small bottle clear-top GE6L6GC and has the same warm lower midrange and silky top end as the classic GE versions of the 1950s and 60s. Like the historic RCA 5881, this tube features a small bottle enclosure, clear top and side getter. The TAD 6L6GCM-STR and the TAD 6L6WGC-STR have our exclusive beefed up cathode coating, gold grid wire, double getter construction, no-noise filaments and 1.2mm thick heavy duty glass.

Miniature beam power pentode designed for service as an audio output amplifier. It features high power sensitivity at relatively low plate and screen voltages.

The JJ Electronic 5881 is very similar to the 6L6GC but with a plate dissipation of 23W rather than 30W. Another physical difference is the shorter bulb. These tubes have a soft and balanced response that sounds great in both guitar amps and hifi equipment. The JJ 5881 will work in any amp that uses 6L6 tubes.

The Sovtek 5881WXT is the same as the 5881 but with a full size base for easy installation in vintage amp designs. The Sovtek 5881 delivers a warm, round tone that "sweetens" any vintage or modern guitar amp design. Built to rigid military standards, the 5881 will tolerate higher voltages than any other 6L6. In fact, they're frequently used as replacements for the old 7027 model in vintage Ampegs. Extremely consistent from piece to piece. The Sovtek 5881 has a heater voltage of 6.3 volts at 0.88 amperes.

Compactron beam-power pentode primarily designed for use as the horizontal-deflection amplifier in color television receivers. It is characterized by having a very low knee with a very high peak current of over an ampere.

Genalex Gold Lion KT77 beam-power tetrode tube. Made in Russia.
A beam tetrode with an absolute maximum anode dissipation rating of 32 watts. The KT77 is designed for use in the output stage of an af amplifier. Two valves in Class AB1 give a continuous output of over 70 W.

The JJ Electronic 7027A offers the same reliability and tone as the JJ 6L6GC but with the correct pinout for vintage amplifiers that use 7027 tubes like older Ampegs. At 30W, this tube delivers plenty of headroom. The highs are clear and responsive with warm mids and tight solid lows. Known for their reliability and articulation, the JJ 7027A is a great option guitar amplifiers and Hi-Fi stereo equipment.

The Psvane EL84 is a high quality output pentode. It has a noval base and maximum plate power of 12W. The Psvane EL84 captures the classic sound of this tube and is an excellent choice for both guitar and stereo amplifiers. A true to form reproduction of a classic tube that will work in most EL34 amps. The 6CA7 is often considered the American cousin to the British EL34. Sonically, this tube is closer to a 6L6 than an EL34 but without the sometimes harsh high end of the 6L6.
