I put the solid state vibrator in a 1948 Philco Dodge car radio and it works fine. The vibrator grounds two pins in alternating sequence and I looked at the two pins with an oscilloscope. It is working as expected. Each pin goes to ground as expected. The old vibrator had contact bounce on one of the contacts and the DC voltage out of the rectifier tube was only around 100 volts. With this vibrator the voltage is about 200 volts, where it should be.

Sadly, immediately upon turning on the radio, smoke emanated from the vibrator...…:(

I repair old car radios as a hobby. Many of the cars back then had positive grounds, this solid state vibrator is a great replacement for the old mechanical vibrators. They are quiet and very reliable. I highly recommend them!

I have been using your solid state 6v. 4 pin vibrators in restorations for years and the ONLY failure I had was self induced by incorrect polarity. There are many out there still presumably still working excellently as intended.

I have installed the Vibrator - 6 Volt, 4 Pin, Positive Ground in the radio of my 53' Mercury car and it has meet all of my expectations.

Thank you,

They work great and they are so much quieter and more reliable than the mechanical vibrators. I highly recommend them!

It worked for less than one minute on a previous working radio and I have the video to prove it. I have already contacted you, but apparently your staff could not provide any additional assistance base on the emails I received. If you can I would appreciate having my radio working again!
