AHGNMENT PROCEDURE ~
Be sure to follow procedure carefully cmd in the order given-otherwise the receiver will be insensitive and the dial
calibration incerrect. For alignment procedure read labulatiuns from leil to right. lt more than one adiustlnent is required
on a-ny one band, make the adjustment marked (1) first, (Z) next, (3) third.
Before starting alignment:
(a) Cheek runlnq dial adjustment by turning gang condenser until plates touch maximum capacity stop (completely
in mesh) at which point the dial needle must be exactly even with the last line at the low frequency end ol the
dial calibration. It dial needle does not point exactly to last line move needle to correct pesltlon.
(b) Use an accurately calibrated test oscillator with some type of output measuring device.
(c) Have ground lead of test oscillator attached to chassis.
